newLISP
newLISP is a scripting language for developing web applications and programs in general and in the domains of artificial intelligence (AI) and statistics. newLISP is a LISP-like scripting language for doing things you typically do with scripting languages: programming for the internet, system administration, text processing, gluing other programs together, etc. newLISP is a scripting LISP for people who are fascinated by LISP's beauty and power of expression, but who need it stripped down to easy-to-learn essentials. newLISP is small on resources like disk space and memory but has a deep, practical API.

Enthought Tool Suite
The Enthought Tool Suite (ETS) is a collection of components developed by Enthought and our partners, which we use every day to construct custom scientific applications. It includes a wide variety of components, including:
* an extensible application framework
* application building blocks
* 2-D and 3-D graphics libraries
* scientific and math libraries
* developer tools
The cornerstone on which these tools rest is the Traits package, which provides explicit type declarations in Python; its features include initialization, validation, delegation, notification, and visualization of typed attributes.

Ext is a client-side, JavaScript framework for building web applications
In early 2006, Jack Slocum began working on a set of extension utilities for the Yahoo! User Interface (YUI) library. These extensions were quickly organized into an independent library of code and distributed under the name "yui-ext." In the fall of 2006, Jack released version .33 of yui-ext, which turned out to be the final version of the code under that name (and under the open source BSD license). By the end of the year, the library had gained so much in popularity that the name was changed simply to Ext, a reflection of its maturity and independence as a framework. A company was formed in early 2007, and Ext is now dual-licensed under the LGPL and a commercial license. The library officially hit version 1.0 on April 1, 2007.

The Nickle System
Nickle is a programming language based prototyping environment with powerful programming and scripting capabilities. Nickle supports a variety of datatypes, especially arbitrary precision numbers. The programming language vaguely resembles C. Some things in C which do not translate easily are different, some design choices have been made differently, and a very few features are simply missing.
Nickle provides the functionality of UNIX bc, dc and expr in much-improved form. It is also an ideal environment for prototyping complex algorithms. Nickle's scripting capabilities make it a nice replacement for spreadsheets in some applications, and its numeric features nicely complement the limited numeric functionality of text-oriented languages such as AWK and PERL.
