Introducing Wakari, Scientific Python in the cloud
[defunct]
We are proud to introduce Wakari, our hosted Python data analysis environment.
We believe that programmers, scientists, and analysts should spend their time writing code, not working to setup a system. Data should be shareable, and analysis should be repeatable. We built Wakari to achieve these goals.

tinypy is a minimalist implementation of python in 64k of code
tinypy includes a whole heap of features:
* parser and bytecode compiler written in tinypy
* fully bootstrapped
* luaesque virtual machine with garbage collection written in C
it's "stackless" sans any "stackless" features
* cross-platform :) it runs under windows / linux / macosx
* a fairly decent subset of python

jQuery for JavaScript programmers
jQuery is an exceptionally clever piece of engineering. It neatly encapsulates an extraordinary range of common functionality, and provides a clever plugin API for any functionality not included by default.(...)
Most importantly, it does so in a way that obeys best practices and plays well with other JavaScript code.
Most introductions to jQuery focus on designers and inexperienced developers. I’m going to try to explain why jQuery should be of interest to experienced programmers as well.
